Food Storage Wars is a 6-week “food raiser” for the Charlotte County Homeless Coalition. The Finale Jam Thank You Party at Harpoon Harry’s in Fishermen’s Village on Saturday, July 13, 2013, is the culminating event that will acknowledge the band who collected the most food. At the event there will be live music, games, raffle prizes, a look-a-like contest, silent auctions, and more.

These special cruises will be departing on Saturday, July 13th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Each one and a half hour (1 ½) narrated cruise tours the waterfront of Punta Gorda and Charlotte Harbor, then circles the bay spotting dolphins, seabirds, and other wildlife. The ticket price is $16.95 plus tax for adults, half price for children age 3-11, and free for children under 3. To help support the “food raiser”, passengers will bring canned and boxed food items to the ticket booth on the day of the cruise to receive $1 off per food item donated. Want a free ticket?
