HAPPENING RIGHT NOW IN STUART AT SUNSET BAY MARINA

Sorry for the late notice, but the replicas of Columbus' Ships ... NINA and PINTA ...  are at Stuart's downtown marina, Sunset Bay, from now 'til Sunday, March 9th.
A project of the Columbus Foundation, the ships are touring together as a new and enhanced "sailing museum" to educate the public and school children on the 'caravel', a Portuguese ship used by Columbus and many early explores in their discoveries. The foundation is funded by tickets purchased to view the ships and you can find out more about times and tours at www.thenina.com. The onboard cell phone is 787-672-2152.

After Stuart, the ships will be at Ponce Inlet at Inlet Harbor Restaurant & Marina (March 12 - 18) and then in Fernandina Beach at Fernandina Harbor Marina (March 21 - 24).

The following note and photo are printed with over-the-phone
permission from Kimberly aboard Nina on February 25.

Welcome to The Columbus Foundation and our two Columbus replica ships - our original Niņa, the most historically accurate replica of a Columbus Ship ever built, and our recently-built Pinta.

OOOOOOOPS! WE GOOFED!

Following is the ad which should have been placed on page 123 in our new print edition.  Unfortunately, we ran the wrong ad for Sun Harbor Marina.

The restaurant there is currently closed, so Captain Greg Jones had us make a few little changes. But, instead of putting the NEW CORRECT ad in the book, we ran the incorrect one.

We've apologized to the folks at the marina and we apologize now to our readers. This corrected ad will appear online and Captain Greg had a great idea. He suggested that we ask all of you to print out this ad and paste it over the incorrect one on page 123 in the print edition! Hmmmmm.
