HOW TO FIND THE NEW FCD
The 2013/14 - 31st - print edition of the FCD is now available through this web site and has already been shipped to many stores and distributors. You should be able to find it in quite a few marinas, marine stores and bookstores throughout Florida and elsewhere. (Any retailers who have not yet ordered the new book can e-mail their orders to us or fax 954-462-8168.) The ISBN on this edition is: 978-1-928864-13-4; cover photo is the under-construction Structure C Bridge on St. Petersburg's Pinellas Bayway by Bruce Bingham.
Besides the FCD, Our SHIP’S STORE has other inventory of interest to cruisers, including books and videos and a few DVDs. Take a look! This web site is secure but your orders may be faxed (954-462-8168) with credit card billing information if you prefer. No CODs.
NEWS BACK but ARCHIVES ON HOLD
This is our first NEWS update since Editor and Web Site producer, Captain Bob Armstrong, left us. The usual archived items are not in place as the web site, with our brand new computer system, are new to those of us who remain. As we resume the updates, we plan that they will be "on or about the first of each month" as always. Archiving, however, will not be included immediately
Includes official sites (with links and any notices) from:
COE (US Army Corps of Engineers) - saj.usace.army.mil -
FWC (Florida Fish & Wildlife - myfwc.com - and
USCG (US Coast Guard) - uscg.mil/ or www.navcen.uscg.gov -
If you are interested in getting updated information on the ICW and other waterways straight “from the horse’s mouth,” US Coast Guard Local Notices to Mariners are available weekly via e-mail.
