Big Bend Bridges
Site Search Site Search

The Big Bend is another of those delightful areas in which, with but one exception, bridges and their potential concerns of vertical clearance and/or restricted opening times have no impact whatsoever on your cruising plans and thus can be, for the most part, completely out of mind. The one exception here is on the Steinhatchee River, where a fixed bridge with a vertical clearance of 25 to 28 feet lies between its mouth and the the varied facilities located in the village of Steinhatchee.
