Peanut Butter Pixies

This no-cook candy is a treat and also an activity for a rainy day. Enlist the whole crew including children to help.

1 cup smooth peanut butter
1 cup light corn syrup
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
About 1 cups nonfat dry milk

In a bowl, combine corn syrup and peanut butter. Powdered sugar doesn’t have to be sifted, but measure it by spooning it lightly into measuring cups. Gradually stir powdered sugar into peanut butter mixture. Work in powdered milk a little at a time until mixture is thick as fudge. Roll into walnut-size balls. Arrange on a plate or put each on a small square of waxed paper, bring up corners of the paper and twist.

Variations: (1) Press a chocolate kiss in the center of each pixie. (2) Roll pixies in chocolate jimmies or (3) dip in melted chocolate.
(4) Form each pixie around a whole pecan or walnut half. (5) Work raisins or dried cranberries into mixture before
forming into balls.
